In its original moquette fabric this boudoir chair is in excellent condition, featuring fringing from the underside of the frame to the floor. The legs at the front are turned, with their original brass wheels. The back legs are swept, with a square profile. The fabric is green with a gold accent.

An early Evertaut machinist chair, salvaged from the Footprint Tools factory in Sheffield. This is an unusual version, with a height adjustable oak backrest. The seat is also solid wood, looking to be mahogany. The steel frame was completely bare of paint when found so it has been lightly rubbed down and lacquered.

This stool was one of several salvaged from a fireplace factory in Lancashire, although they originally came from a textile mill in Cheshire. They were bought second hand at auction in the 1970s for use in the Lancashire factory.This is one of the earliest designs of machinist stool, the cast iron base looking almost Victorian. It is height adjustable by means of a thick threaded seat stem. The seat itself is original to the stool and consists of three layers of hardwood, the top face being mahogany.
