vintage painted wooden whatnot

A vintage painted wooden 'whatnot', three tiers and a lower open storage area with a zinc base. The three tiers each have a brass gallery on three sides. The back panel is finished in the same way as the two sides meaning that this could be used as a centre piece as well as against a wall. The paint colour is a classic 19th C 'drab' colour as seen in service areas and kitchens of country houses. The timber under the paintwork look to be mahogany. The opening for the lower storage area is 17cm high. The internal height between the lower tiers is 38cm.122.5cm wide 46cm deep 145cm high to top of finial
