large scale wooden form

A substantial wooden form, used in sand casting. This example was salvaged from the Footprint Tools factory in Sheffield and would have been a component part in one of the machines used to make the hand tools produced there. If the part broke they could simply make another one in house.Painted wooden construction, fitted with two brackets to allow it to be wall hung.
