 A rare ESA chair designed by James Leonard, bentwood frame with bent ply seat and back. There is a small crack in the top layer of ply on the seat (highlighted in image) but this shouldn't get worse under normal use. 56cm wide x 80cm high x 51cm deep

1950s PEL chairs 1950s PEL chairs

A rare set of PEL chairs, original cream/yellow paintwork and original bakelite seats and backs. This is possibly the rarest version of the PEL chair after the oak slat seat type. Being brittle, the bakelite seats and backs were most likely to be damaged out of all the versions of this chair. These seats and backs have no chips or cracks, there are scratches in line with their age but structurally sound and intact. 46cm wide x 58cm deep x 85cm high, seat height 47cm.
