1950s kitchen cabinet

A superb example of a 1950s wooden kitchen cabinet with the unusual addition of a full length cupboard to the side, featuring stable type split doors. This would have originally have been used to store mops and brooms as can be seen by the cut out in one of the shelves. The lower three shelves are a later addition.The main body of the cupboard consists of two upper cupboards with steel door vents and steel spice racks in each door.The drop down counter features its original enamel top in excellent condition.Underneath are two drawers, oak carcasses with ply bottoms.Finally there is a bottom two door cupboard, again with a steel vent in each door.The hinges and handles throughout are solid brass.
