1940s oak single door locker
This cupboard is stamped with the CC41 logo, meaning that it was made under Government restrictions either during or directly after the Second World War. 'Utility' furniture as it came to be known was manufactured by a range of makers.This locker has an oak frame with oak faced plywood panels. It is fitted with a rail and three removeable shelves so can be used either as a cupboard or a wardrobe. It closes with a sprung metal turn catch.
