1930s oak and brass surveyors tripod lamp

A lovely example of an early fixed height surveyors tripod, adapted into a floor lamp. An aged brass bayonet bulbholder is mounted to the brass head. The cable is cloth covered twisted flex which runs through two steel guiding eyes on one of the legs. The overall footprint of the light can be changed simply by moving the legs in or out. It may be unstable if the legs are too close together though so common sense is advised! As with all electrical items offered for sale the light has been PAT tested(lightbulb not included)
  • 153cm high
  • 60cm leg to leg (as shown in photo)
