twin pedestal polished steel desks

Our twin pedestal desks are sourced in the UK and Europe. All date from the 1940s - 1960s. The vast majority of desks are 153cm x 76cm and can be dismantled for transport and installation. The tops of the desks are rubberised, usually black, grey or brown. All desks are strippped and polished to order, please contact us for current availability. The lead time is usually 4-6 weeks. There is usually an example of a finished desk at the showroom as well as images on the archive page and customers can select an unrestored example to be stripped and polished from the warehouse. We can also e mail images of unrestored desks to customers unable to visit in person.

	1960s polished steel typists desk A polished steel typists desk with original black linoleum top, the drawers fit A4 sheets lying flat, 95cm x 50cm deep x 73cm high. This particular desk has now sold but we have more waiting to be stripped!

available to order,handmade mild steel framed table with reclaimed 2" timber plank top. available in 150cm (£495), 200cm (£575), 250cm (£650) and 300cm (£750) lengths with a standard depth of 75cm and height of 75cm. 	1950s Belgian all steel desk A polished desk, all steel, with a single drawer, 87cm wide x 50cm deep x 70cm high, internal height 65cm. A 10mm glass top can be supplied with this desk if required.

low trolley table
From our range of industrial inspired furniture these tables have a handmade polished steel frame and feature polished period cast iron wheels , originally used on metal bins in a Yorkshire factory. The wooden tops are reclaimed planks, finished in a low sheen waterproof varnish. Each table trolley table is finished with old manufacturers names and batch numbers made using stencils discovered in the same factory as the wheels. 123cm x 78cm x 37cm high (giant spanners not included!)

	1940s Jean Prouve Student desk A good example of one of these rare Prouve pieces, tubular steel frame with height adjustable stems for seat and desk. 84cm deep x 62cm wide, seat height in image 45cm, desk height in image 75cm. More images available on request.

	1930s oak roll top desk A compact twin pedestal oak roll top desk, two flights of drawers, pull out writing surfaces on each pedestal, central drawer, pigeon holes and drawers to interior, roll top runs well. 106cm wide x 69cm deep x 119cm high, internal height 70cm. Desk dismantles for transport. Please note this desk does not lock.
