A rare complete builders trestle table. Polished and lacquered strap iron uprights with manufacturers stamp 'Bayliss, Jones & Bayliss London'. Pine plank top with steel banding to each end. The top has a couple of old repairs which adds to its lovely colour and patina. It has been finished in our low sheen water based lacquer.

We have made this table from the wheel of a malt trolley. These were used in whiskey making and looked a bit like Roman chariots! The top is a lovely weathered pine, sealed with a low sheen lacquer. The hub is cast iron and there is a flat steel banding around the edge of the top and a vulcanised rubber edging.The table frame has been handmade in mild steel and the base is made from salvaged oak.
